Would You Like To Help Preserve History?

My passion is to share the stories of the forgotten. With that, it takes a lot of time, research and effort on my part to thoroughly go through those stories and share them to the public, being done accurately and with love and respect. Unfortunately, this work is not free, and with the cost of inflation having gone up and many companies these days raising their fees for subscriptions (Ancestry.com, Newspapers.com, etc) it has become expensive to do something that used to be almost free just 10 years ago! 

I have been doing this research for almost 20 years now, and I cannot believe how expensive it has become. Sadly, the cost of gas to travel to an old library or archives, and even the cost of previously mentioned online subscriptions has become unaffordable for most people to continue with their work. I have to admit, it has become difficult even for me at times, as what once started out as a fun hobby nearly 20 years ago, has turned into a very expensive passion! 

For those of us independent authors and researchers, we always put more out there than we ever get back, monetarily of course. But that isn't why we do it in the first place. It is the drive to share the history and the truth that keeps our fire burning inside to keep researching and keep uncovering those histories.
